Jigsaw puzzles were first used in the late 18th century for educational purposes in England. In the beginning
of the twentieth century, jigsaw puzzles were beginning to gain popularity among adults as a form of entertainment.
During the great depression of the 1920s, the sales of jigsaw puzzles skyrocketed in America. From then onwards, jigsaw
puzzles remained as a form of educational tool as well as to entertain adults.
